ResourcesThe Freedom and Justice Foundation (F&J) prides itself on being a resource for citizens working to improve their local communities all around the Lone Star State. F&J's founding motto was "Connecting the Dots!", later transformed to "Bridging Communities", and so has performed a coordinating mission since founding. F&J doesn't attempt to centrally manage community-based activism, but to instead enhance its coordination so as to elevate the advocacy's impact. F&J's nonpartisan and nonpolitical advocacy philosophy has always been driven by a conflict resolution methodology, as opposed to an adversarial methodology, and therefore has always advocated interfaith partnerships for the greater good in all public policy matters.
Helpful Civic Engagement Resources:
F&J's core mission promotes the civic engagement of Texas Muslims. Many Muslim citizens are already quite successfully integrated, so in our grassroots presentations we highlight these individuals as civic resources for others to model their "civic resume" building efforts after.
